Some volunteers had an alternate date for their Day of Caring work. On Tuesday September 22nd, one local man traveled to Nelson Pioneer Farm to help out. This man is well known in the community for his love of volunteering, and his work is always appreciated. On the Thursday after Day of Caring, a large group of William Penn University students spent a class period doing odd jobs around the grounds. Around 50 volunteers helped rake leaves, collect walnuts, pull weeds, till the garden, and do other jobs for a few hours of their day.
