DAY OF CARING

Another small group of volunteers worked at the United Way of Mahaska County (UWMC) office on Day of Caring. The Mahaska Title volunteer team helped with the UWMC’s annual campaign mailing. The volunteers helped prepare some of the approximately 3,000 letters that UWMC sends out each year to prospective donors. Later in the week, there were also four volunteers from the Oskaloosa High School who came to work on this project as well. The United Way of Mahaska County employs only three individuals, so they rely on volunteers to help accomplish this great task each year. The work these volunteers do is very much appreciated.
